Harry R. Phillips, MD, is Chief Medical Officer of Trase, where he provides clinical leadership and helps guide the company’s strategy to address healthcare’s most pressing challenges through agentic AI.

Dr. Phillips is the former Chief Medical Officer of Duke Network Services and Duke LifePoint Healthcare, a 14‑hospital health system. Having spent more than four decades on the faculty at Duke University, he has built a distinguished career as a respected clinician‑scientist. He is the co-author of the textbook: Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine: Principles and Practice and the author or co-author of more than 100 peer‑reviewed journal articles.

Dr. Phillips earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at the Harvard‑affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine.
